Over 34,000 men became casualties at Chickamauga in September 1863. The battlefield's paranormal reputation spans generations — and our investigation added fresh evidence to the record.

The Battle of Chickamauga was one of the bloodiest engagements of the Civil War, fought across the woods and fields of northwest Georgia over two days in September 1863. The land has never fully recovered — paranormal reports from park rangers, historians, and visitors have been documented continuously since the late 19th century.

Our team investigated three key areas: Snodgrass Hill, the Brotherton Cabin site, and Dyer Field. Dyer Field — where some of the most intense fighting occurred — produced extraordinary results. Multiple investigators reported the smell of gunpowder with no source, and our audio recorder captured what sounds unmistakably like a bugle call at 1:17 AM.

Snodgrass Hill triggered our EMF detectors repeatedly along the defensive line. A spirit box session produced references to unit designations that match historical records of regiments engaged in that exact sector. At the Brotherton Cabin site, a full-spectrum camera captured what appears to be a column of mist moving with a purposeful trajectory across the open field.

Chickamauga ranks among the strongest residual haunting sites we have investigated. The emotional and physical trauma embedded in this landscape appears to replay with remarkable consistency.
