Built on a Tunica burial ground, The Myrtles Plantation has witnessed murder, disease, and tragedy. Our investigation confirmed it remains one of the most active sites in the American South.

The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana is a legend in paranormal circles — built circa 1796, it allegedly sits on a Tunica burial ground and has been the site of at least one confirmed murder. The ghost of Chloe, an enslaved woman killed on the property, is said to be among the most frequently encountered entities.

Our team accessed the main house and grounds for an overnight investigation. The front parlor — where multiple apparitions have been photographed by guests — produced sustained EMF activity from the moment we set up equipment. A Sensor Pod placed near the famous spotted mirror logged 12 anomalous readings in 2 hours, several of which corresponded with investigators reporting a sense of being observed.

At 3:22 AM, our thermal camera captured a heat signature near the staircase that materialized, held position for 7 seconds, and then faded. The signature was humanoid in shape and approximately 5'2" in height — consistent with historical descriptions of Chloe.

Audio evidence: one Class A EVP captured on the front gallery, a female voice saying what sounds like 'I'm here.' This location remains an active, priority investigation site for our lab.
