Waverly Hills Sanatorium: A Return Visit

Our second visit to Waverly Hills brought new equipment and new evidence — including a full-body apparition captured on thermal imaging for the first time in our lab's history.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky operated as a tuberculosis hospital from 1910 to 1961, during which an estimated 6,000 patients died within its walls. It is widely regarded as one of the most haunted buildings in the United States, and our second visit with upgraded equipment confirmed why.

We deployed four Sensor Pods across the five floors and the infamous Body Chute — a tunnel used to discretely remove the deceased. The tunnel produced our most significant finding of the night: a thermal camera captured a human-shaped heat signature approximately 5 feet tall moving toward the team before disappearing into the wall. The footage has been authenticated by two independent analysts.

Room 502, where two nurses allegedly died, produced consistent spirit box responses and a sustained cold spot that lasted over an hour. Our EMF detectors remained in a state of near-constant triggering on the fourth floor, the most notoriously active area of the building.

This investigation sets a new benchmark for our organization. Evidence collected: 4 EVPs, 1 thermal anomaly, 12 motion sensor triggers, and 37 Sensor Pod anomalous readings.
